For centuries though, people have wondered what happens in the Lord's Supper and how we should approach the table of the Lord. The Lord's Supper declares the truth of Christ's completed work on the cross for the forgiveness of sin

1. The Lord's Supper is taken in remembrance of what Christ has done for the believer

2. We adore Jesus

3. We affirm our beliefs

4. We assess our relationship with Christ

5. We announce the death, resurrection, and return of Christ
