Read the New Testament in 2021

Psalm 1 tells us that the man or woman who meditates (reads and thinks deeply) on the Scripture will be blessed. Spending daily time with Jesus in His Word is one of the most important things you can do each day. The struggle is that we don't know where to begin or what to do. We want to invite you to walk through the New Testament with us in 2021. If you read one chapter a day for five days each week, you will read through the New Testament in a year. As you read each chapter, take time to think on what God is saying and grow in your faith and likeness to Jesus. You can find a copy of the plan below along with the GROW guide which helps you understand how to study the Bible yourself.

Scripture Memory

Along with reading the Scripture, it is important for us to memorize the Scripture as well. In 2020, we memorized one verse a month as a church. We want to encourage you to review those Scriptures throughout the next year. Maybe as a family you want to work on those verses too. In 2021, we will be memorizing a verse each month as well. You can find resources to help you memorize those verses at the Welcome Center each Sunday morning.
