The Church & The Keys

Series: Shepherds for God's Flock

Christ is the head of the church, but who has authority in the church on earth? In Matthew 16, Jesus tells Peter that he is giving him "the keys of the kingdom of heaven" which leaves us with a couple questions. What does it mean to have these keys? Who possesses the keys today? The answer is the congregation of the gathered local church. Pastor Alex looks at the responsibility of Christians to be active members of a local church and to exercise the keys to protect the Gospel.
