The Church Belongs To Christ

What is the church? Some might point to a building, but the word that Jesus uses for the first time in Matthew 16 points to a people. Pastor Alex looks at who the church is and who the church belongs to as Jesus makes the promise to establish, build, and uphold His church through the ages. As we look at this passage and consider the promise of Jesus to the church, we are reminded that going to church does not make us a Christian, but being a Christian means a desire to be with the church.
