Death Brings Life

Series: Gospel of John: Season 3

Jesus repeatedly tells people in John's Gospel, "My hour has not come," but that all changes after Palm Sunday. With the nations coming to him, Jesus says "The hour has come." What does Jesus mean? In John 12:20-36, Jesus explains the hour of his glorification will be in his death so that life can be given to many. At the same time, Jesus explains how those who will follow and have life in him, must join him in death. Pastor Alex looks at this teaching of Jesus to explain how death brings life and the call of a Christian is to die with Christ so we may live in Christ.
