I'm from Atlanta, GA and I'm a lifelong Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldogs fan. I am married to Kendra and one daughter, Madi. I became a Christian in 1996 at Valdosta State University, where I was active in the Baptist Collegiate Ministry and experienced God's call to ministry. After graduating in 2000, I went to New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary for a Masters of Divinity. I spent over a decade working in collegiate ministry, mainly in Poplar Bluff, MO at Three Rivers College. Before coming to Heartland in 2017, I spent over 3 years serving as Senior Pastor at Second Baptist Poplar Bluff. As Discipleship and Family Pastor for Heartland, I oversee our family ministries, from nursery to adults, and I oversee our discipleship ministries: small groups, assimilation, serving, and more.
